Q: What is the difference between the dhow and the yacht?

The boat itself. A dhow is a traditional wooden boat — the classic Dubai evening, with a buffet dinner and live Tanoura show, boarding 8:30 or 9:00 PM, from AED 100. The yacht is a modern catamaran or motor yacht with an open sun deck, sailing four times a day with breakfast or a live BBQ, from AED 200. Choose the dhow for the traditional experience, the yacht for a modern boat and flexible timing.

Q: What time does the shared yacht tour depart?

There are four departures every day, each 2 hours: morning at 10:00 AM, sunset at 5:30 PM, evening at 8:00 PM and night at 9:00 PM. All sailings are subject to availability — tell us your date and preferred time and we will confirm your seats before anything is booked.

Q: Is the yacht private?

No. This is a shared yacht experience with other guests on board, typically a 65ft catamaran or an 86ft yacht. There are no allocated spaces — you are free to move between the upper and lower decks throughout the sailing.

Q: How much is the yacht cruise?

The yacht is AED 200 per person on the 10:00 AM, 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM sailings. The 5:30 PM sunset sailing is AED 285 per person. Dhow cruises start at AED 100. Send us the ages of anyone under 12 and we will confirm the exact rate for your group.

Q: Where does the yacht depart from?

Xclusive Marina, behind Al Majara Tower in Dubai Marina. Nearest metro is DMCC; by taxi, ask for drop-off at Al Majara Towers; by car, Marina Mall offers 3 hours free parking. Arrive 20 to 30 minutes before your confirmed departure — the boat leaves sharp and there is no refund if you miss it.

Q: Is hotel pickup included?

The boarding point is in Dubai Marina, so it is walking distance or a short taxi ride from most Marina and JBR hotels. On dhow cruises, hotel pickup and drop-off from other areas of Dubai is available at extra cost. Yacht cruises do not include transfers, but we can arrange one separately — ask on WhatsApp and we will quote it for your hotel.

Q: Can I swim, or bring my own food and drinks?

Swimming is not part of the shared yacht cruise, and alcohol and outside food and drink are not permitted on board. Soft drinks, water and your meal are included. On the yacht, footwear comes off when you board and children under 9 wear life jackets throughout.

Q: Is the food suitable for vegetarians?

Yes. The dhow buffet includes generous vegetarian and non-vegetarian selections with salads, mains and desserts. The yacht BBQ includes meat, chicken and vegetarian options with side salads and bread. Tell us about any dietary needs when you book.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

Yacht cruises offer free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure; refunds can take up to 14 working days to process. For dhow cruises, tell us as early as you can and we will confirm the terms for your booking.

Q: How do I confirm my booking?

Message us on WhatsApp with the experience, your date and the number of guests. For the shared yacht, add your preferred departure period. Everything is subject to availability, so we check the live schedule first, then reply with the exact option, price and boarding instructions — usually within minutes.
